Nowhere else are these words more evident than at the Center for Advanced Gynecological Surgery. The Center was established in 1999 to provide women the best care available in gynecology. Dr. Francois M. Blaudeau, founder of the Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery, a non-profit organization that promotes new surgical advancement, has been a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive surgery. Laparascopic techniques have revolutionized the way surgery is approached, providing a quicker recovery time, less pain and a greater reduced cost than with traditional surgery. Dr. Blaudeau also promotes the success rate of laparoscopy, along with the safety factor this technique provides. Ultimately, the safety and success rate determines which procedures the Center will perform.

Dr. Blaudeau consults with patients about what medical approaches to take. Surgery may not be needed in some cases. Physical therapy and medication is all that may be required.
